No More “Saturday Showdowns” On Friday the 27th of March 2026, we bid farewell to our DJ and friend Les D Brown. Due to personal reasons he decided to hang up his headphones for the time being. But never say never, he may return to Voyager at some future point. Look after yourself Les.
Farewell to the "Blues Train" Saturday the 21st of March 2026, marked the final edition of DJ Deacon's "Blue Train" show. Deacon showcased a neglected genre of music for a few hours on Saturday evenings and will be missed.

Goodbye "Sunday Sounds" On the 7th December 2025, we were heartbroken to say farewell to one of our most popular DJs and friends, Helen McQue. Goodbye "Music Machine" On February 22, 2025, we said farewell to one of our longest-standing DJs and friends when Mick Finley broadcast his final scheduled “Music Machine” on Voyager Radio. Mick will be making occasional guest appearances at the station in the future, so keep a check on our Facebook Group for any updates. You will currently find Mick presenting his show on BCR radio.

We launched our new Voyager Radio Merchandise store. Just click on the “Shop!” link in the top navigation bar and the store will open in a new tab or window. I have tried to make the prices as low as possible whilst allowing for a small margin which will go solely towards the Station’s running costs.
On the 6th of August 2022, Voyager Radio will be celebrating its 5th Birthday! We have a number of Special Celebration programs over the weekend of the 6th/7th and the week leading up to it. Please keep a lookout on our Facebook Group for all the latest news.
This was our 5th Birthday Week!! We officially launched Voyager Radio on the 6th of August 2017 and it’s hard to believe we have reached our 5th year. We celebrated with lots of Special Shows and challenges. Live Shows were on-air for approximately 41 hours non-stop. From 7am Saturday morning until 12am Monday morning. We had fantastic feedback from DJs and listeners alike and the whole week and especially the weekend was a great success.
