Goodbye "Sixties and Beyond" On the 12th of June, 2022, we bid farewell to our DJ and dear friend “AJ” when he broadcast his final scheduled “Sixties and Beyond” show for the last time. Launched new versions of the Voyager Radio website and Chatroom. Completely redesigned to work on most Web devices such as PCs, Laptops, Tablets, and Smartphones. A “Listen Live” pop-up player opens on entry to the website (on PCs and Laptops) to allow you to listen to the Station whilst browsing the site. Voyager Radio celebrates its first Birthday! To celebrate our first year on-air we broadcast a full day of live shows starting at 6am in the morning until 8pm in the evening. A fun day was had by presenters and listeners alike and we even had our own specially commissioned birthday cake!
Record day for Live DJs. Taking to the air on New Year’s Eve at 8am, our DJs entertained listeners for over 16 hours, taking them through the day until the evening bringing in the New Year.
Voyager Radio goes “Live” for the very first time, after a few weeks of test broadcasts using the Auto DJ. At 9am we had over 80 listeners tuning in for the launch broadcast. Hosted by Founder DJs Chris and Steve, we played an hour of great tunes, before commencing our first individual live shows.
