DJ Doug – Scotland’s No.1
Hi, I am Doug (Scotland’s No1). I do The Big Breakfast Show at the weekend and also like doing special shows of different artists and genres.
I started presenting on Internet radio in 2004. I have a very wide interest in music and through my shows, I try to bring that out to the listeners. In July 2024 I took on the role of Assistant Station Manager, helping Chris with the overall running of the station.
Join me on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am for the Big Breakfast Show.
I broadcast from Studio 2 in Fort William in the West Highlands of Scotland.
My Hobbies include making models, playing Microsoft Flight Simulator and going out on my mountain bike. I love a wide variety of music.
I started doing internet radio back in 2004. I have met lots of fantastic people over the years and made lots of friends more so here at Voyager.
Doing the breakfast show suits me as I’m a morning person, rather than a nightbird! My music tastes range from pop, rock, country, dance, even a little trance on occasion. I do occasional Special Shows marking events or themes, such as St Patrick’s Day (all Irish artists), Bands, Decades, 9/11 Memorial Show, Miami Vice (Music which featured in the TV series), plus many more.
