DJ Angela the Nightbird brings us the best in US and UK tunes, anecdotes, chat and more on her fun-filled show!! Occasionally she may be joined by her son Canon, known as DJ Mushy Peas on-air.

Hi, I’m Angela, the first DJ to join Voyager from “across the pond”. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband Paul and our two kids Canon and Isla.

We have a connection to the UK, that’s a big reason I joined the Voyager team. Part of our family originated from the Southend/Leigh-on-Sea area and we’re in touch with our extended family today!

Join me on Saturdays from 2pm/8am (UK/CST) for my show full of music, stories and frivolity.

I broadcast from Studio 6 in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA.

I’m a bit of an insomniac hence my nickname of “The Nightbird” on Voyager Radio.

I love music of all genres and love to see artists “live” so take the opportunity of going to music events whenever I can.
